Flora of Audubon's Kelso Creek Sanctuary

Audubon owns on a small sanctuary along Kelso Creek. Purchased in 2000 to protect the riparian habitat within the sanctuary, the loss of upland habitat recently makes the upland portions equally as important. The sanctuary is only 156 acres in size, yet is significant with at least 128 species of flowering plants identified so far. Eve Laeger compiled most of this list and has been supplemented by additional surveys by Alison Sheehey.
