Christmas Bird Counts

KERN RIVER VALLEY CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT SCHEDULE AND CONTACT INFORMATION

The following three Christmas Bird Counts cover all three of Audubon's sanctuary properties in the Kern River, South Fork and Kelso Valleys. Christmas Bird Counts are held between December 14th and January 5th. Compilers are free to choose a date that suits them but most work on cooperatively scheduling so there is no competition among local counts.

SATURDAY, first Saturday within the count period in December
Butterbredt CBC: Compiler: Charles Bragg

SATURDAY, last Saturday within the count period may fall in December but usually a January date

South Fork Valley: Compiler Denise LaBerteaux

SUNDAY, , last Sunday within the count period may fall in December but usually a January date

Kern River Valley: Compiler: TBD
